Transfer RX

Home / Transfer

Takes 2 minutes

Transfer your prescription in two minutes.

We handle everything directly with your current pharmacy. You give us three things: your name, your date of birth, and your current pharmacy's number.

How the transfer works.

We've streamlined the process so you don't have to deal with your old pharmacy at all. We take care of it.

  1. Contact us with your info.

Give us your full name, date of birth, and the name and phone number of your current pharmacy. That's all we need to get started.

  2. We call your current pharmacy.

Our pharmacist contacts your current pharmacy directly and arranges the transfer. You don't need to do anything, or even call them yourself.

  3. Pick up or get free delivery.

Most transfers are completed same day. Your prescriptions will be ready for pick-up at our Meadowlark location, or we'll deliver them to your door, free of charge.

Common questions

Frequently asked.

How long does a prescription transfer take?

Most transfers are completed same day. Call us directly and we can usually have your prescriptions ready before the end of business.

Do I need to contact my current pharmacy?

No. Under Canadian pharmacy regulations, we are authorized to contact your current pharmacy on your behalf. You don't need to do anything.

Can I transfer controlled substance prescriptions?

Controlled substances (such as opioids or certain sleep or anxiety medications) may require a fresh prescription from your prescribing physician rather than a direct pharmacy transfer. Partial transfers are possible in some cases. Call us and we'll walk you through it.

Is delivery really free?

Yes, completely free. We offer free prescription delivery across Edmonton with no minimum order, no delivery fee, and no subscription.
